Over the past decade, Greg Porper has established himself as a versatile force in the entertainment industry, serving as both a development executive and a sought-after freelance producer, director, and writer.
Greg recently completed production on his dark comedy DON'T TELL LARRY, which he wrote, directed, and produced. The film had its world premiere at the 30th annual Austin Film Festival and during its current festival run, has garnered 11 nominations and 3 wins, including BEST FEATURE FILM and AUDIENCE CHOICE Awards at the Pasadena International Film Festival.
As the film's lead producer, Greg founded the production company Don’t Tell Larry LLC, strategically crafting, pitching, and executing the film's business plan, securing all of the financing from over three dozen investors, and managing daily operations overseeing a team of more than 100 people throughout the film's lifecycle.
Greg has also developed and produced shows for Netflix, Fox, ESPN, MTV, truTV, Viceland, Discovery+, and more. He created, sold, and served as showrunner for the ten-episode CW digital series, Worst Birthday Ever. His pilot scripts and shorts have been featured on The Black List, College Humor, Funny or Die, and have screened at festivals all across the country.
